This section will showcase the many larger estates that existed in the city at the turn of the twentieth
century. It will also include relevant newspaper articles detailing their ultimate sale and in many cases demolition. It should
be noted that a few do remain, noteworthy is the Trevor mansion "Glenview", now part of the Hudson River Museum
located in the Glenwood Section of Yonkers on Warburton Avenue.
1930 auction ad. The great depression did much damage to the remaining estates.
This ad appeared in 1905. The site is now occupied by condominiums.
