Illuminations were held as a part of the Hudson Fulton Celebration in 1909. This was Getty Square at night during the celebration.

The event took years of planning and was perhaps the most spectacular event in the history of New York State and especially Yonkers.

See the Special Section of this website devoted to the incredible Hudson Fulton Celebration of 1909.
